Ms. Neecie started her dance journey at just three years old, diving into different styles like ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, and hip-hop. She was all in, exploring dance with a lot of excitement and passion.
In 2017, she turned that love for dance into teaching, finding joy in sharing what she knows with aspiring dancers. With plenty of experience under her belt, she became a mentor, helping her students discover themselves and grow through dance.
But Ms. Neecie didn’t stop there. She knew education was important, so she went after a dual degree in dance and psychology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. This not only deepened her understanding of how body and mind connect but also helped her see how dance can change lives.
While at college, she showcased her talent on stage as part of the university’s dance company, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who watched her perform. She also took part in many campus events, further establishing herself as a versatile dancer.
Ms. Neecie is all about mentoring her students, understanding how powerful dance can be in their lives. She creates a space where they can grow and express themselves freely, guiding them in their artistic journeys.
